INTRO TO BODYWORK
4-DAY Certification CourseCourse Information
The Intro to Bodywork is a Whole Body Massage Course that includes some introductory material to develop your deeper practice of Intuitive Bodywork – a holistic approach to healing that involves the harmonisation of the mind, body, and spirit.
In the short course, you will learn the foundational massage practices of the 150-hour course. which can be applied both personally and professionally.
As a stand-alone course, the short course, is suited to help people relieve muscular tension and reduce overall stress in the body and mind. The techniques also help people to reconnect back to themselves.
It is an oil-based treatment with the main application stemming from Swedish Effleurage; a warm-up technique applied throughout a session of Whole Body Massage.
We believe that the fundamentals are best learned in isolation because it permits the student to gain experience in massage and develop a level of confidence before proceeding to study more complex applications that focus on more specific issues.
Please note that the Whole Body Massage Course is a prerequisite for our Intuitive Bodywork Course, with the exception of individuals who currently hold qualifications in Certificate IV of Massage or a Dip. of Remedial Massage.
